Muhammed Amin

Mr. Muhammed Amin has a distinguished career in Pakistan’s corporate sector, currently serving as Chairman of International Packaging Films Limited. With a career spanning over four decades, Muhammed Amin has held several prominent executive roles, including CEO of Sunridge Foods Private Limited, CEO of Mondelez Pakistan Limited (formerly Kraft Foods), and key leadership positions at The Gillette Company, USA. His early career includes experience with Bristol-Myers Squibb and A. F. Ferguson & Co., reflecting a strong foundation in both multinational and local business environments.

Beyond his executive responsibilities, Mr. Amin has made significant contributions in non executive and advisory capacities. He currently serves as an Adviser to the Board of Shan Foods Private Limited. He also chairs the Audit Committee at Burque Corporation and the Strategy Committee at Spar. His previous board roles include directorships at Engro Foods Limited and Al Shaheer Corporation.

A strong advocate for governance, education, and industry development, Mr. Amin has served on the Board of Governors at The British Overseas School, Karachi, and on executive committees of the Lasbela Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the American Business Council of Pakistan. He is also the current President of the Dhoraji Youth Services Foundation.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to excellence, strategic growth, and community service. His leadership and advisory roles have been instrumental in shaping the direction of leading organizations within Pakistan’s corporate landscape.

Ruhail Muhammad

Mr. Ruhail Muhammad brings over 40 years of leadership experience in general management, strategy, financial planning, business development, and people development across diverse sectors, including chemicals and energy.

He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Lucky Electric Power Company Limited, a 660 MW power plant subsidiary of Lucky Cement. Previously, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Engro Fertilizers from 2012 to 2018. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Hub Power Holdings Ltd., a subsidiary of HUBCO, where he led the company’s growth portfolio, including acquisitions, project financing, and financial restructuring initiatives.

Over the course of his career, he has served on the boards of several leading organizations, including Engro Corporation and its subsidiaries, K-Electric, NBP Funds, Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance, British Overseas School, KP Energy Board (PEDO), and as Chairman of Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited.

He presently serves as Chairman of Pakistan Stock Exchange and is a board member of Lucky Electric Power Company Limited, other Lucky Group entities, NOWPDP, EFU Life Assurance Ltd., and Karachi Education Initiative (KSBL).

Mr. Muhammad is a CFA Charter holder and holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, Pakistan. He has also attended the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD and an Agri-Business certification from Harvard Business School.

Hussain Dawood

Mr. Hussain Dawood serves as the Chairman of the Board of Engro Holdings. As an entrepreneur, businessman, and philanthropist he has driven the Group and its investments since 2002 into new fields of business and achieved new levels of growth in revenues. His vision is to make contributions to sectors that are drivers of the economy and society.
He also serves as the Chairman of Engro Corporation.

Committed to human development, Mr. Dawood is the Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Dawood Foundation (TDF). Established in 1962, TDF focuses on creating collective change by building interactive spaces for formal and informal learning. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Governors of Karachi School of Business and Leadership, a graduate management school focused on developing effective leaders.

Mr. Dawood also acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Karachi Education Initiative and is a member of the Board of Governors at the Islamabad Policy Research Institute.

Mr. Dawood has been leading the Group’s engagement with the World Economic Forum since 1992. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA, and is a graduate in Metallurgy from Sheffield University, UK.

Abdul Samad Dawood

Samad Dawood is a graduate in Economics from University College London, UK, and a Certified Director of Corporate Governance from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance. He is Chairman of Friesland Campina Engro Pakistan Limited and Cyan Limited and Vice-Chairman of Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited. In addition to this, Mr. Dawood is an active director on the board of Pakistan Business Council, a pan-industry advocacy group that promotes easing of barriers to enable Pakistani businesses to compete in regional and global arenas. In line with his areas of interest, he is a director and trustee of Boards across varied industries including financial investments, energy, and education, some of which are Engro Corporation Limited, the Dawood Foundation, Dawood Corporation Limited and Dawood Investments (Pvt.) Limited (formerly known as Patek (Pvt) Limited) and Reon Energy Ltd.

Sabrina Dawood

Sabrina Dawood was the Chief Executive Officer of The Dawood Foundation (TDF), a philanthropic organisation promoting education and informal learning. Under her leadership, initiatives commenced are TDF MagnifiScience Centre – a first of its kind interactive space that aims to spark scientific curiosity and enhance critical thinking, TDF Ghar – a 1930s house restored into a safe space for youth which preserves Karachi’s heritage and culture, and the Nature Series – which creates awareness about Pakistan’s environmental treasures, their impact on our ecosystem, and their sustainability challenges, among other initiatives.

Sabrina is Director on the Boards of the Engro Corporation Ltd., Engro Foundation, Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited, Cyan Limited, and Karachi Education Initiative (KEI). She holds an MSc in Medical Anthropology from University College London and a BA from London School of Economics in Anthropology & Law.

Shafiq Ahmed

Mr. Shafiq Ahmed joined The Dawood Group in 2007 and has worked for several Group concerns in different senior positions, including the Chief Executive Officer of Dawood Lawrencepur Limited and Tenaga Generasi Limited and currently looking after the Group’s private companies as Chief Executive Officer. He is also serving on the Board of Directors of Dawood Lawrencepur Limited, Tenaga Generasi Limited, Reon Alpha Limited, Dawood Corporation (Private) Limited, SACH International (Private) Limited, Pebbles (Private) Limited, Inbox Business Technologies Limited and The Dawood Foundation.

Prior to joining Dawood Group, he served in senior management position in Pakistan National Shipping Corporation and has also been associated with Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder & Co., Chartered Accountants for nine years. Having a flair for textiles, energy and accounting, his career spans over 25 years working with industry leaders and pioneers in these fields.

He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a degree in Law from University of Karachi. Shafiq is also a certified director from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.

Sikander Hazir

Mr. Sikander Hazir brings over 16 years of extensive human resources experience, specializing in transforming the resource management capabilities of large and mid-sized organizations. Having spent a significant amount of time in Engro Corporation and Frontier Works Organization, he managed HR innovation programs to enhance productivity and significantly reduce operating costs. In his current role, he oversees HR-related matters of the Dawood Group while performing other key duties. Mr. Hazir holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. His strategic approach and leadership have consistently delivered measurable improvements in workforce efficiency and business performance. In addition to his professional experiences, Mr. Hazir is an avid golfer and enjoys reading autobiographies.
